The buzzing in my ear, and the fear that trembled through my heart lasted for a good ten minutes, but to me, what felt like an hour. Grasping onto my loved one’s hands while I remember why I am going through with this. To withstand a memory and to hold the individuals close to me. This shall forever be with me, unless of course I ever decide to remove it. Which is impossible because these moments can never be removed from me. I get asked each day â€Å"what does that mean?† or â€Å"why did you decide to get that?† Every time I disclose my answer, brings back a moment in my life. That moment is what pushed me to get my tattoo. A small shamrock inked in behind my ear. The Irish symbol that holds a bold meaning in my heart. This little flower stands for moments in one’s life that happen in a set of threes. I come from an almost all Irish family and this nationality withholds a large piece of me. The moment that this little flower stands for is the loss of three important people: my grandma, father, and cousin. All lost in a close time frame that I patched together as a set of threes. On a chilly day in the month of March, I received a phone call. A call of despair. Something I had not expected to receive. It was my mother.
